Review: Colbert MD Illumino Mask

As a teen my favorite doctor appointments were trips to the dermatologist. Call me crazy, but learning everything about my skin from a licensed professional is quite intriguing, and well, credible. Furthermore, going home with products produced by my dermatologist was the equivalent to a kid rewarded a lollipop after a shot. I say this all to say, I trust anything made by a dermatologist.

Last week I had the opportunity to preview a new product by a revolutionary dermatologist and founder of New York Dermatology Group: Dr. David Colbert. Colbert has expanded his line to introduce the brand’s first sheet mask: Illumino Anti-Aging Brightening Mask. Formulated with ingredients including: niacin amide, swift nest extract, lactic acid, vitamin c, symcalmin, chamomile extract hyaluronic acid, and vitamin e; this uber concentrated mask tightens, brightens, smoothes, calms, hydrates and plumps the skin. This couldn’t have come at a better time for me especially after earning a few dark spots thanks to a hormonal break out.

It’s been a week and I’ve tried the mask along with cult favorites: Illumino Face Oil and Intensify Facial Disks. I am liking all three! After use, I noticed an increase in the hydration of my skin. Additionally, my dark spots from my breakout have dramatically lightened (I thought they would never go away), my skin just looks so full and well-nourished!

Wanna’ try this out? Illumino Anti Aging Brightening masks are available at ColbertMD.com Barney’s New York and Space.NK apothecary
