Home Sweet Home!

While everyone is taking this extended-day weekend as an opportunity to go on a quick vacation, I’m taking advantage of the 4th of July Furniture and Home Improvement Sales.

I’ve recently taken another step into adulthood, paying rent will be another expense to add to my list! So excited to decorate my new pad, my boyfriend has always told me I should pick up interior designing as a side hustle (hmmm, maybe). I love putting together mood and inspiration boards, then take ideas from them to create the look and ambiance I want.

Obviously I want my place to reflect me, and things that I love: travel, fashion and culture. I also want it to feel very homely and comfy where my friends can come over and chill out! I am going for earthy tones with a pop of pastel hues along with ethnic prints here and there.

Side note: everything will have to be pet friendly as I have a dog that will tear up my place 🙁

This weekend I will be focusing on my living room below are some of the images on my inspiration board that have inspired the direction I want to go.
